Hmm.

Nice refreshing melodies, but seems to lack energy. The kick is really hidden in the mix and it does not have a strong punch. There also could be a little bit more variation to the percussion as well. I did not really hear much bass at all either. It seems that you really just put a lot of reverb / high EQ on everything. The structure seems to be rushed, or, does not fit well. You might want to work on that a bit more.

But really nice refreshing ear candy stuff. Nothing seems to be clipping and nothing is overpowering. Keep up the good work. Also, check out some of my stuff whenever you get the chance. Review for review = <3. :P

The structure was very rushed because I had a deadline. I know I need better structure but its hard to figure it out without being cliche. I've received a lot of NEEDS MOAR BASS but have decided I can't really afford unbalancing the mix for that, and I've never been good with what bass actually sounds good. I don't understand how it lacks energy though, the entire point of the track is to energy all over your face.

I do not like excessively strong kicks that sidechain absolutely everything, so that's more of a stylistic choice. This is one of the reasons this song will never get on the radio, of course. You really don't want me to review your songs, trust me.

Epic Acid.

This track is a bit random, but it sure sounds cool. Has a really cool racing feel to it, like in a dark race track. It would be a bit more epic if it had a faster tempo and less presety sound. I give you props for the egyptian feel though, really cool stuff.

Check out some of my dnb stuff whenever you got free time :)

Everlasting-Elements responds:

Well, I'm glad you think it's cool. I don't have any good drum packs, so I assume that's what you meant by 'presety.'
I'll check out a song and drop you a review sometime, sure.

Too short :(

I really would like to hear the full version of this. I guess I would have to buy the album then :P I'm loving the groove in this, very smexy. But I gotta say though there needs to be a bit more high, you're lacking some frequencys there. This sounds a lot more liquid funk dnb than Hip Hop actually. Reminds me a bit of LTJ Bukem.

Keep making this stuff man. I'll be looking up your stuff later.

haywirehaywire responds:

You can listen to the full version for free at the link, ill keep the high frequency thing in mind. Ive been told the LTJ Bukem thing before, so thanks.

Wobble wobble!

This is definitely better than my dnb stuff, well, it could just be the style that's better :) I really wish the intro was a bit longer, it seemed a bit too rushed. The bass and drums were fantastic, but it really sounds a bit too loud. ( I am on the lowest volume :P )

Great stuff mate. I wanna see what you think of my dnb stuff :) Cheers.

MA3HbO responds:

It is rushed indeed.I just wanted to throw in an improvised intro so its not just a loop. There will be alot more stuff (automation, samples etc.) in the finished version.I'll check your stuff but i'll review it tomorrow cause my ears are in agony (making tracks the whole day). Thanks for the review.

PS.What the f*ck with the wobbles? :D

Cool.

Cool stuff mate. The bassline was really sick and heavy too, it kept the drive for the track. Good variation as well, it made the track less repetitive. Gotta say though, the synths sounds a bit muffled. Watch those volume levels next time.

Keep it up though, it has great potential. Check out some of my stuff when you get the time. :)

Nevrosia666 responds:

fine , no problems i'll chek that out right away
